Dan has had a lifelong interest in collectible and rare coins and currency of all denominations. Finally becoming a full time dealer (after some part time activity) in 1978 when he opened D & J Coins on Main Street in Sheridan, WY. Early on as a collector he took a grading course from the American Numismatic Association. Not long after opening D & J Coins he attended the ANA’s course on counterfeit detection.

Dan has been a member of the ANA for over 40 years and is an authorized dealer for PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) and NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) plus membership in several other clubs such as CWNA (Colorado Wyoming Numismatic Association), CSNS (Central States Numismatic Society), and FUN .

Mike has had a long term interest in the business that resulted in him starting to work at D & J Coins about ten years ago. He has been a very helpful and enthusiastic addition. Mike has attended the ANA’s grading seminars and is also a member of the above mentioned organizations and associations, plus attending several of the major coins shows each year.

Joanne, the J in D&J. Since her retirement from pharmacy Joanne has taken on a much more active role in the business. She handles all Ebay business and has been a wonderful addition to the store in all areas but especially within customer relations, organization and planning.
